About

CABAL is a 20-something IT worker who lives on the internet, where he wastes his free time with things like videogames, movies, and comics. He likes to think of himself as creative, but none of his projects make it far, many never got past concept. This corner of the web is where he displays these unfinished works and speaks his mind about whatever topic happens to be in there at the time.

Oratorio Tangram

Saturday 02 May 2009 at 11:48 am I've been a Virtual On fan since they ported the original to the Saturn, and Sega has just ported the last arcade revision of Oratorio Tangram to the Xbox 360. Since this is the first time this version has been brought to the States, I was quite ecstatic. The last version we saw here was on the Dreamcast, and they made quite a few tweaks since then and even added three new Virtualoids. And the Xbox version has nice shiny HD graphics to boot. With the Xbox 360's dual analog sticks there is some twin stick emulating control schemes, but I found them hard to use due to the lack of sensitivity of the analog sticks. Thankfully it has a control scheme similar to the Dreamcast version available. (more)
