About

CABAL is a 20-something IT worker who lives on the internet, where he wastes his free time with things like videogames, movies, and comics. He likes to think of himself as creative, but none of his projects make it far, many never got past concept. This corner of the web is where he displays these unfinished works and speaks his mind about whatever topic happens to be in there at the time.

KyoAni are Trolls

Saturday 11 July 2009 at 2:03 pm I've been watching the new episodes of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya fan subbed each week. For those of you who don't know, Haruhi was an insanely popular anime in Japan (although it never became that popular here) from three years ago. Even three years ago there were some "trollish" aspects about the show, it was shown out of order and started with a "movie" that was made by the characters. But, both of these were great, the pacing due to it being out of order helped the mystery and the introduction was probably the best character foreshadowing ever. Well, this year they didn't even announce new episodes, the first season was started airing in chronological order, but new episodes from the new season were inserted into it. This was all fine and dandy, but the current story arc, Endless Eight, takes trolling to a new level. (spoilers after the break) (more)

Busy Life is Busy

Wednesday 08 July 2009 at 09:46 am I probably should have posted this on Thursday or Friday of last week, but I've been too busy. The Pressure Blind site is up and the first show is this weekend. Outside of my duties for Pressure Blind, I've been having after hours work fun with various hardware failures and I spent the forth of July weekend bumming around Dallas with my younger brother.
